Japan's Ground Self-Defense Force posted on social media on the 28th that it has
deployed a Type 12 shore-to-ship missile launcher and other equipment to
Minami-Tori-shima in Tokyo's Ogasawara Islands. This is the first deployment of
shore-to-ship missile equipment to the island, Japan's easternmost territory.
