At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with palladium up nearly 4%, live hogs up over 3%, platinum up nearly 3%, and fiberboard, lithium carbonate, coking coal, Shanghai silver, red dates, and Shanghai zinc all up over 2%. On the downside, SC crude oil fell over 2%, synthetic rubber fell nearly 2%, japonica rice, TSR20 rubber, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) fell over 1%, and caustic soda fell nearly 1%.
