The Ministry of Commerce announced that, in order to safeguard national security and interests and fulfill international obligations such as non-proliferation, it has decided to add 20 Japanese entities, including the National Institute for Defense Studies, which are involved in enhancing Japan's military capabilities, to the export control list.
