On June 27, Jiguang Xingtong said it achieved a 72-hour continuous stable
laser-communication link during a mission. The spaceborne laser communication
terminal supplier expects to deliver more than 100 terminals in 2026 and to have
roughly 100 terminals operational in orbit. It closed an A4 financing round near
RMB300 million earlier this year, with proceeds earmarked for next‑generation
space laser communication R&D, automated production lines and upgrades to
on‑orbit technology verification capabilities.
