President Trump said on the 27th US forces struck Iranian missile and drone storage sites and coastal radar stations after Iran again violated a ceasefire, warning that “the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist” if escalation continues. CENTCOM said the same day it carried out a new round of strikes inside Iran as a direct response to Iran’s continued targeting of merchant shipping, saying US aircraft hit military surveillance facilities, communications nodes, air-defence positions, drone storage sites and minelaying equipment.
