China's State Administration for Market Regulation, working with relevant
departments, is accelerating standards-setting for frontier AI technologies and
building a national AI standards matrix aligned with industry development.
National standards currently being drafted include intelligent agents, embodied
intelligence, world models, ontology models, compute infrastructure,
high-quality datasets, simulation test platforms, deep learning compilers and
open-source model platforms. Regulators will also prioritize industry governance
and AI deployment evaluation, promoting standards for AI enterprise maturity
assessments and evaluation of high-value AI application scenarios.
