Qualcomm (QCOM.O) unveiled the Dragonfly C1000, a data‑center CPU tailored for
agent-style AI workloads that prioritizes high compute with low power draw.
Qualcomm said Meta Platforms (META.O) will adopt the chip for mass production
beginning in 2028. The launch underscores Qualcomm's push from smartphone
processors and modems into the data‑center market. Qualcomm shares fell more
than 5% after the announcement.
