On the 24th Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu completed his testimony at
the Tel Aviv District Court, ending a roughly 18‑month testimony phase that
comprised 98 hearings. Prosecutors had cross‑examined him on cases known as
1000, 2000 and 4000; Netanyahu denied all charges. The presiding judge said the
trial will transfer back to the Jerusalem District Court and proceed to the
defense‑witness stage; Netanyahu’s team plans to call 100 defense witnesses and
other co‑defendants are expected to testify.
