June 23, 2026 — China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) vice chairman Lin Honghong met in Beijing with Hashimoto Gaku, acting president of the Japan International Trade Promotion Association and member of Japan's House of Representatives, who was in China to attend the fourth Chain Expo. They discussed deepening institutional cooperation, strengthening bilateral economic ties, promoting industrial-chain and supply-chain collaboration, and expanding cooperation in frontier technologies and the silver economy.
