Israel’s opposition leader and former prime minister Naftali Bennett said at a
June 23 public event in Jerusalem that while serving as PM in 2021–2022 he
purchased and smuggled tens of thousands of Starlink user terminals into Iran to
help anti-government protesters attempting to topple the regime. He said the
current Netanyahu government did not continue the program.
