Shanghai immigration inspection authority: as of June 21 YTD passenger inspections at Shanghai ports have exceeded 20.0 mln. Pudong and Hongqiao international airports accounted for 18.807 mln inspections, or 94.0% of the total; Shanghai cruise ports recorded 0.973 mln, or 4.9%. Foreign nationals accounted for 6.712 mln inspections YTD, up 20.8% YoY; inbound foreign nationals totaled 3.308 mln, up 20.2% YoY. During the Dragon Boat holiday (June 19–21), inspections totaled 313k, up 9.4% YoY; outbound mainland residents during the holidays were nearly 100k, representing 56.9% of outbound travelers.
