China A-shares closed higher: Shanghai Composite +1.78%, Shenzhen Composite +2.13%, ChiNext Index +2.52%. Total turnover exceeded CNY3.7 trillion and roughly 2,900 stocks advanced. Cultivated-diamond names led gains, with Liliang Diamond among stocks locked at the daily limit. Financials jumped; Zhongxin Jiantuo and New China Life Insurance hit daily limits in the afternoon. Nonferrous metals saw a wave of limit-ups — more than 10 stocks, including Zhongwu Gaoxin, reached daily limits. Other outperformers included industrial gases, compute-leasing, electrical equipment and semiconductors. Underperformers included robotics, generic drugs, hotels & restaurants and tourism.

The source said the US had requested GROSSI’s involvement but Iran opposed it. Iran’s team is focusing on Article 13 of the implementing memorandum—with particular emphasis on Article 1—and is pressing for unfreezing Iranian assets and lifting oil sanctions.
