June 22 — Fengfei Aviation said it was selected in the first batch of pilots for
Hong Kong’s low-altitude Regulatory Sandbox X. Four projects were chosen in the
initial round; two will deploy Fengfei’s large eVTOL aircraft. Under guidance of
the Hong Kong Low-Altitude Economy Working Group and its regulatory framework
support, Fengfei and partners including Hong Kong China Travel Service
Automobile Co., Ltd. and Aiyikang Ltd. will advance phased, scenario-based route
planning, flight-parameter validation and end-to-end flight trials in Hong Kong.
