Hubei-based Mintai Aviation Technology said its four-seat fuel-electric hybrid
eVTOL full-size prototype, described by the company as high-safety, is scheduled
for a maiden flight around China’s National Day. The company says the model’s
range is about 1,000 km—roughly five times comparable pure-electric
eVTOLs—potentially easing range constraints for low-altitude travel.
