Ghalibaf, head of Iran’s negotiating delegation in Switzerland and speaker of
the Iranian parliament, said on social media on June 21 that Iran does not take
US threats seriously, warned Washington to choose its words carefully and said
Iran’s armed forces are fully prepared to respond “in another way.” He added
that regardless of US bluster, “we will be the ones to act.” Earlier, Trump
posted that “Iran must immediately stop its ‘proxies’ in Lebanon. If not, we
will strike Iran again, like last week, and only harder."
