According to an Axios reporter, a U.S. official stated that Iranian representatives had previously agreed to a media briefing at the start of the meeting. "They even brought their state media to cover the event, and these media outlets were already in place. However, despite this, they left the meeting after seeing the number of media present and subsequently released inaccurate descriptions of the situation through their state media," the U.S. official said.
