Trump said the Strait of Hormuz will not charge any transit fees during a 60-day
ceasefire, and will not charge fees after that period unless the agreement
breaks down. If the pact fails, the United States would impose fees for its own
purposes as payment for services provided as a "guardian angel" to Middle
Eastern countries, to cover past, present and future costs.
