Axios reported a U.S. official said U.S. special envoy Witkoff is en route to
Switzerland and that Kushner is already there. People familiar said Iran foreign
minister Araghchi plans to travel to Switzerland on Saturday but the plan could
change. Araghchi told several foreign ministers a Lebanon ceasefire is vital to
Iran and decisive for U.S.-Iran talks; Iran wants to see afire cease implemented
before traveling. The source said negotiations therefore may not begin before
Monday, though the timetable remains tentative.
