Anthropic agreed a multiyear deal with CoreWeave to rent US data center capacity
to meet rising AI demand and support its Claude models. The capacity will use
multiple Nvidia chip architectures; financial terms were undisclosed. Anthropic,
alongside OpenAI, has faced outages amid “unprecedented demand” and is expanding
compute, including a $50 billion US data center commitment. Valued at $380
billion, it recently raised $30 billion. It also partnered with Broadcom and
Alphabet’s Google for 3.5 gigawatts of power.
