China Producer Price Index rose 0.5% year-on-year, reversing a 0.9% decline in
the prior month and marking its first increase after 41 consecutive months of
contraction. On a monthly basis, PPI increased 1.0%, extending gains for a sixth
straight month and widening by 0.6 percentage points from the previous month,
the fastest pace in 48 months.
