An Iranian military spokesman stated: "Iran's conditions are the basis and focus of the negotiations. We hope the negotiations will succeed, but if they do not, we are prepared for a long and protracted war. The enemy has already demonstrated its untrustworthiness, as shown in the previous two rounds of negotiations."
