offering shipments from US-sanctioned facilities to South Asian buyers,
according to people familiar with the matter. The cargoes were marketed at about
a 40% discount to spot prices through intermediary firms based in China and
Russia. Sellers indicated they could provide documentation showing alternative
origins, such as Oman or Nigeria. Media could not confirm whether any
transactions were completed.
