At the opening of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed performance. Container shipping to Europe rose over 4%, soybean futures rose over 2%, and international copper and palladium futures rose over 1%. On the downside, methanol fell over 5%, ethylene glycol, propylene, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), and liquefied petroleum gas fell over 3%, while polypropylene, paraxylene, SC crude oil, and bottled PET futures fell nearly 3%.
