EVE Energy Co. plans to build two battery plants in China with combined annual capacity of 110 GWh at a total cost of 11 billion yuan ($1.6 billion), according to filings. The plan includes a 6 billion-yuan joint venture with Fujian Longking Co. for a 60 GWh facility, alongside a separate 5 billion-yuan investment for a 50 GWh plant producing stationary and EV batteries.
