The Israel Defense Forces said it carried out wide-ranging strikes on Iran
military infrastructure, including a petrochemical complex in Shiraz used to
produce nitric acid for explosives and ballistic missile components. The
military said the facility was among the few remaining sites supporting such
production after earlier attacks on major plants. The IDF also said it struck a
ballistic missile site in northwestern Iran from which missiles had been
launched toward Israel, aiming to further degrade Iran’s weapons production and
operational capabilities.
