At midday closing, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Ethylene glycol hit its daily limit up, while methanol and plastics rose over 8%, polypropylene rose over 7%, propylene rose over 6%, and benzene and BR rubber rose over 3%. On the downside, polysilicon fell over 4%, red dates, apples, and rapeseed fell over 3%, and caustic soda, alumina, and live pigs fell over 2%.
