At the opening of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed performance. Ethylene glycol, plastics, and methanol rose by more than 5%, polypropylene rose by more than 4%, and benzene and paraxylene rose by more than 3%. On the downside, live hogs, caustic soda, apples, and glass fell by more than 1%, while rapeseed meal, alumina, soybean meal, and coking coal saw slight declines.
