Musk: Tesla's (TSLA.O) Autopilot technology has saved countless lives—and the data undeniably proves it. Of course, that doesn't mean it's perfect. Even if we improved safety tenfold, saving 90% of the million people who die in car accidents each year, Tesla would still face lawsuits from the remaining 10%. And most of those 90% of survivors wouldn't even know Tesla saved them. Nevertheless, it's the right thing to do.
