[Israeli Official: Israeli Air Force Suspends Airstrikes to Assist US Search for Crew Members of Downed Fighter Jet] According to the Wall Street Journal, an Israeli security official stated that the Israeli Air Force has suspended airstrikes over the area where a US F-15E fighter jet was shot down over Iran on Friday. The official added that Israel is still assisting the US in searching for the crew members of the downed aircraft. The search appears to be focused on Khuzestan province, located on the Persian Gulf coast bordering Iraq, a key area for Iran's onshore oil production.
