A poll by the Central Bank of Mexico shows that private sector analysts expect overall inflation to be 4.21% by the end of 2026, up from 4.0% in the previous survey; GDP growth is projected at 1.49% in 2026, up from 1.50% in the previous survey; the exchange rate is expected to be 18.10 Mexican pesos to the US dollar by the end of 2026, unchanged from the previous survey; and the benchmark interest rate is projected to be 6.50% by the end of 2026, unchanged from the previous survey.
