The Office of the United States Trade Representative stated that the WTO ministerial meeting ended in a deadlock after Brazil and Turkey rejected an agreement to extend the suspension of tariffs on e-commerce goods. If the suspension cannot be reinstated, the United States will negotiate a plurilateral agreement with relevant parties outside the WTO framework.
