According to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), in the week ending March 24, speculators increased their net short positions in CBOT U.S. 2-year Treasury futures by 155,512 contracts to 1,638,179 contracts, decreased their net short positions in 5-year Treasury futures by 325,016 contracts to 1,448,436 contracts, increased their net short positions in 10-year Treasury futures by 44,009 contracts to 641,887 contracts, and increased their net short positions in ultra-long-term Treasury futures by 8,050 contracts to 279,187 contracts.
