On March 27th, two 20,000 TEU container ships owned by COSCO Shipping Lines in
the Persian Gulf west of the Strait of Hormuz, began to cross the strait to
return to China. The two ships are crossing empty. As for whether the container
shipping routes with cargo will resume passage through the strait, it is
currently unclear.
