Anthropic PBC is considering an IPO as early as October as it competes with
OpenAI Inc. to go public. The Claude chatbot maker has held preliminary talks
with Wall Street banks on lead roles, with Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and Morgan
Stanley under consideration. The listing could raise over $60 billion, though
plans remain undecided. Valued at $380 billion after a $30 billion funding round
in February, Anthropic has partnerships with Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and
Nvidia, which have invested and provided chips and technology worth tens of
billions.
