President Donald J. Trump said the U.S. will pause energy plant destruction for
10 days, until April 6 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, at the request of the Iranian
government. He stated that negotiations are ongoing and described them as
progressing “very well.” Trump also said that reports suggesting otherwise are
“erroneous” and attributed them to the “Fake News Media.”
