Reflection, backed by Nvidia, is in talks to raise $2.5 billion at a $25 billion
valuation to expand development of open-source AI models. The startup aims to
build an ecosystem supporting sovereign AI systems and compete with Chinese
offerings. JPMorgan Chase may join the round, alongside existing investors.
Reflection, founded in 2024 by Misha Laskin, has raised over $2 billion and is
part of Nvidia’s Nemotron Coalition to advance open AI models.
