New Zealand's Finance Minister announced that starting April 7, approximately 143,000 working families with children will receive an additional NZ$50 per week through an increased on-the-job tax credit. If implemented for the entire year, the policy is expected to cost a one-off NZ$373 million; a shorter implementation period would result in lower expenditures.
