China issued trial guidelines targeting platform companies and their labor
partners to regulate labor rules and algorithm use. The measures focus on key
areas including order allocation, pay and commissions, working hours and rest,
delivery time estimates, routing, and performance evaluation and penalties to
better protect gig workers.
