At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with Shanghai silver up over 7%, Shanghai gold up over 6%, coking coal up over 5%, fuel oil up over 4%, and Shanghai tin, low-sulfur fuel oil, glass, palladium, coke, and platinum up over 3%. Shanghai nickel, international copper, SC crude oil, Shanghai copper, lithium carbonate, styrene, soda ash, BR rubber, and benzene all rose over 2%. On the downside, container shipping to Europe fell over 1%, while rapeseed meal and rapeseed futures saw slight declines.
