At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts declined. Palladium rose over 4%, platinum rose nearly 4%, polysilicon rose over 2%, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), soda ash, iron ore, lithium carbonate, and coking coal rose over 1%. On the downside, tin fell over 3%, nickel, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), rapeseed oil, and asphalt fell over 2%, and SC crude oil, stainless steel (SS), and zinc fell nearly 2%.
