[A-Share Midday Review: Major Indices Fall in Morning Trading; Precious Metals and Film & Cinema Sectors Lead Declines] The three major A-share indices opened lower and continued to decline in the morning session. As of midday closing, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 1.22%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 1.88%, and the ChiNext Index fell 2.35%. In terms of individual stocks, the dairy sector strengthened in the morning session, with Huangshi Group hitting the daily limit and Huanlejia rising over 9%. The retail sector was also strong, with several stocks, including Yonghui Supermarket and Baida Group, hitting the daily limit. The film and cinema sector corrected, with Bona Film Group hitting the daily limit down and China Film falling over 8%. The precious metals sector fluctuated and declined, with Western Gold and Xiaocheng Technology falling over 6%, and Zhongjin Gold, Zhaojin Gold, and Chifeng Gold falling over 5%. The Hainan sector weakened, with Hainan Ruize nearing the daily limit down and Xindazhou A falling over 8%. The photovoltaic sector weakened, with Oriental Sunrise falling over 10%, and Jincheng Shares and Canadian Solar falling over 7%.
